Since the launch of the site back in April, we’ve gotten an overwhelmingly positive response from you guys. Thank you for visiting (tell all of your friends!), and you’re welcome! Although we don’t have time to individually respond to every email that we receive, we’ve decided to pull some choice messages for our first edition of I ♥ Mail. Feel free to send questions, comments, or gushing compliments through our contact page.
“I was just wondering if I could get the brand name and vendor of the white lingerie that Justene Jaro is modeling? I’d love to buy one for my wife! It’s really hot! Thank you so much.”
You are in luck, because this set isn’t from some remote lingerie shop in the distant country of Japan (like much of our lingerie is). The lace slip in question can be purchased at Victoria’s Secret stores worldwide or online. To make it easier for you, I’ve even found the link for you. Enjoy!
“Are you still with IGN? Babeology? I love the shots of Justene Jaro, Jeri Lee, Melyssa Grace & Leianna Kai. I’d love to see Nina Carla, Xena Kai, Lana Lopez, Francine Dee & Mia Valerio.”
We at iheartgirls believe that variety is the spice of life, and we’re constantly looking for fresh new models, as well as some familiar faces. Although we can’t accommodate all requests (unfortunately, not all girls want to shoot with us :(), we will do our best to provide you with the quality content that you will come to expect from us. We’d love to shoot girls like Jeri, Melyssa, and Leianna again, and we’ll also look into the other girls you’ve mentioned. If you have any other girls that you know might be a good fit for IHG (and that goes for all of you!), please send them on over!
“Hi Cherie! My name is Gabe and I really like your photos. I just got into photography and had some questions: What kind of equipment do you use and what kind of post production do you do? Thank you so much!”
My photography arsenal is pretty extensive. A lot of my equipment never sees the light of day (I am a consumer junkie), so I’ll just tell you the basics.
Cameras: Nikon D200 is my main camera, Nikon D7000 is for video, and I use my iphone 4 and a Leica D-Lux 4 for candids
Lighting and modifiers: 2 Dynalite RoadMax 1000ws series kits, Nikon Speedlight SB-800, Alien Bees ABR 800 ringflash, medium and small softboxes, grids, reflectors, and foamcore
Lenses: Nikkor 18-70mm, Nikkor 24-70mm, Nikkor 35mm, Nikkor 50mm
I have a TON of other lenses, lighting, modifiers, cameras, etc but these are the pieces of equipment that go into making the images on the site. I will tell you, mostly, I use my D200 with my 18-70mm, one of the Dynalite lights, and maybe some foamcore for most of the shots. Simple and sweet.
As for post, I only use Adobe Photoshop CS5 for retouching and Adobe Bridge for organizing and sorting images. I try to shoot things as close to how I want them to look in the end, to minimize retouching. Then it’s just a matter of minor adjusting (color-correcting, curves, retouching blemishes.) I like the girls to look “human”, so I err on the side of less is more. The photos are in a pretty high resolution, so as you can see (when viewed full screen), you can still see skin texture, pores, hair, etc on the models. Generally, my removal rule is: pimples, bruises, scars, and embarrassing tattoos (only at the model’s request).
“You say you can’t give out a model’s number in the disclaimer above, but what if I were to give you my number for yourself, and to pass on to the models? Gotta love loopholes. ;P
Seriously though, this site is very cutting-edge and I think this will end up being bigger than Babeology, which is saying something! I can only imagine how this site will change and grow as time goes on.
I guess, what I’m saying is keep up the great work! And I hope you plan to do a photoshoot with Tanit Phoenix for this website.”
Go ahead and send me a stack of business cards, and I’ll put them in bowl marked, “Models, please take one”. That puts the ball in their court.
Thank you for the compliments, I am ecstatic that you love the site. I’ve put a lot of thought and effort into it, and I hope that others enjoy the site as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it. There’s been a great response so far, and I hope to continue to grow the site with time.
As for Tanit, we’d love to welcome her as an addition to the roster of IHG models. She’s been a very busy bee, so hopefully she will have some free time in the near future to shoot for us.
“Hey, I like your work I used to follow the IGN Babeology but then there were no new posts for over a month. I thought it was finished, nice to see you made your own site!
If you have time to reply, I would like to ask a quick question. If not, don’t worry, I’m sure you’re very busy. Is Ryan Keely going to do any more shoots or was she a one-time thing?
Anyway, keep up the great work :)”
Thanks for compliments, and happy to see we’ve satisfied your Babeology craving. I loved working on Babeology all of those years, but I love having something I can call my very own now!
As for Ryan, I definitely plan on having her back on the site soon. We only shot the one set (we shot others for her personal site the same day as well), but we are trying to set up another ASAP. Add our instagram @iheartgirlsdotcom to see who we are shooting with before the sets go up.
“Was wondering if there’s a way to receive notifications about new wallpapers, and shoots like there was back on IGN’s Babeology? It’d be great to know, and keep up the great work. Thanks.”
Yes, there is a way to receive e-mail notifications immediately after an update goes live. On the right sidebar of any page on the site, you will see a box that reads, “Subscribe to Blog Posts Via Email”. If you input your email address and hit “Subscribe”, you will receive all kinds of IHG goodness in your inbox. Soon, we will also be sending out our official newsletter, which will include such goodies as bonus images, giveaways, behind-the-scenes, and secrets of the universe! (Spoiler alert: It involves unicorns!)
“Cherie, I’ve missed you! I wondered why Babeology had disappeared. I assumed you had left IGN and I was very saddened. So I was thrilled to get the email today and be led to iheartgirls! Thanks for coming back and taking me with you!”
You are very welcome! I am happy to be the pied piper of girl lovers world wide! I hope to continue introducing the world to cute girls for many years to come.
And that concludes our very first edition of I ♥ Mail! As stated before, feel free to send questions, comments, or gushing compliments through our contact page.
I cant help but just say “Damn….” the lighting in brilliant in all your shots Cherie. How long have you been a photographer for?
Thank you! I’ve been shooting since 2005… Still learning every day.
@Cherie…. I would say you're done learning! The student has become the mastah! lolol
Haha thanks Mike. Wax on… Wax off.
It’s virgil. I’ve commented on every picture you posted on here. Don’t really have any questions for you at this time. Just wanted to say, you do great work, it’s about time you got your own website(you were the only reason I went to IGN), and your commitment and appreciation to your fans is equal to none. Keep up the Great Work.
This is what happens when you write before you read. I meant to put that on the contact page. Live and learn, lol.
Thank you Virgil! I appreciate the support. I hope to keep making the site for years to come. No worries that it didn’t get sent through mail… I see both so it’s about the same.
